Data insights drive employee engagement

Employee engagement drives corporate citizenship efforts and, in many ways, creates a virtuous cycle in which employees power programs that in turn appear to align with increased productivity and retention. This is the story of how Cisco, a company of 80,000 employees, reached its goal to engage 80% of its employees in taking positive actions for people, planet, and society. Attendees at the virtual 2022 International Corporate Citizenship Conference learned about Cisco’s novel approach to community engagement efforts—what follows is a summary of that conversation.
